Legal notice, terms of use and user rights

The website “trans2tech.eu“ was developed by INRA Transfert in the framework of the European Commission funded project Trans2Tech (FP6). It provides information on the background of the project, its objectives, activities and expected outcomes, the consortium and contributors, news and events related to the transnational technology transfer. Moreover, a web portal dedicated to the marketing and commercialization of innovations from European academic research organizations was also developed in order to allow both contributors to address technology offers (TOs) online, and technology end-users to select TOs using a search engine or tree diagrams (technology domains; application domains). This one-stop shop allows an entrepreneur to contact the licensing-out officer in charge of a TO selected in the Trans2Tech database in order to get additional information, and hopefully to develop business.

INRA Transfert shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that may result from using any content included in the Trans2Tech website.

INRA Transfert does not collect, transmit or use any personal data without your knowledge and consent. In accordance with the law n°78-17, of the 6th of January 1978 amended, relating to computing, files and liberties, you have the right to access or modify all personal data which concerns you. Technology Offers (TOs) are owned by European academic research organizations or their mandated Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs). These contributors of the Trans2Tech database are responsible of the information provided. In order to maintain the quality of the service provided, TTOs agree to bring to the Trans2Tech database offers which are available for technology transfer; provide a standard description of an offer (madatory fields: title, abstract, description of the technology, application domains, status of the intellectual property, technology categories (tree diagram), industrial application domains (tree diagram), references of the licensing-out officer). Moreover, the TOs' providers agree to perform the update of the offers and withdrawn the obsolete ones, send an acknowledgement of receipt to the internet user within 48h, reply to the internet user within 10 working days; provide additional information on the offer (expected partnership, documents, etc.); produce TO in English. Users are responsible for the searches they carry out, as well as the interpretation and use they make of the results. Users are informed that their use of the results should not infringe on current legislation or the recommendations of the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) with respect to personal data. Users are warned that the information must be used for strictly professional purposes only and downloading screen shots in order to constitute or enrich a database is contrary to French law and therefore forbidden, as is its use for commercial or advertising purposes (CNIL).

Users are informed that the service provided by Trans2Tech may be interrupted owing to maintenance activities, and that the organizations that provide TOs can not be considered as responsible of these troubles.

INRA Transfert accepts no responsibility about websites presenting hypertext links towards the one of Trans2Tech. This site presents links towards others websites, but INRA Transfert has no responsibility on the content of these sites.

The Trans2Tech website is governed by the French and international legislation on copyrights and Intellectual Property. Names, marks, logos, models mentioned in this website are owned by their respective applicants. Partial or total reproduction of this website (technology offers, back-office, marks, logos, images, etc.) is not authorized, except express agreement of INRA Transfert.
